Liz Patey Makeup is a luxury bridal, party and editorial hair and makeup artist based in Berkshire. We rebuilt the website from an off-the-shelf WordPress theme into a fully custom-coded WordPress theme, keeping the elegant visual direction while improving the structure, responsiveness, SEO foundations and performance. The main challenge was making a media-rich beauty portfolio fast, crawlable and easy to manage without losing the premium feel. After the rebuild and optimisation work, the site achieved 90+ Lighthouse scores across performance, accessibility, best practices and SEO.
