The brief, the decisions and the delivery

An online shop connected to product presentation and marketing

The challenge

The recorded project brought a family-owned health food and supplement retailer online. The scope combined the shop itself with product presentation and marketing tools. These are connected workstreams, but they should not be confused with a measured claim about sales or the effectiveness of any supplement.

WordPress and WooCommerce

The online shop was built on WordPress and WooCommerce. This is the documented platform choice for the project, not a recommendation that every retailer should use the same system. Catalogue, fulfilment and ownership requirements belong in each new brief.

Mailchimp alongside the shop

Mailchimp was implemented for marketing campaigns. The delivery record establishes the tool setup; it does not establish a particular automated sequence, subscriber consent history or email-generated revenue. Those require separate operational evidence.

Photography and social presentation

The work also included organising photo shoot sessions and initiating social media marketing. Product imagery and the storefront therefore formed part of a wider presentation scope, rather than treating the website as an isolated technical installation.

What we delivered

  • WordPress and WooCommerce online shop
  • Mailchimp implementation for marketing campaigns
  • Photo shoot organisation and initial social-marketing work

The outcome

The portfolio documents an online shop and supporting marketing delivery. The gallery shows the recorded website presentation. Current stock, policies and third-party services may have changed since the original 2020 project; these notes describe that delivery, not a current operational audit.

Based on the existing public portfolio scope and screenshots. No sales uplift, email ROI, customer-retention result or medical/product-effectiveness claim is made. Further outcome reporting needs dated client records and permission.

What this means for your project

Scope the storefront, product information, imagery and marketing handover separately. Assign owners for ongoing prices, policies, permissions and fulfilment before deciding which integrations to add.
